RECOMMENDATION(S):
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Receive and file the bid proposals submitted for the Telegraph Creek Road (4A150) Post Mile 1.90 and Puma Drive (4A125) Post Miles 0.10, 0.21, 0.25 and 0.60 Storm Damage Repair Project;
2. Award the project agreement to GR Wilcox Enterprises, Inc., for the total amount of One Million One Hundred Seventy-Six Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-Three Dollars and Fifty-Seven Cents ($1,176,693.57);
3. Authorize the Chair of the Board to execute the project agreement upon submittal of the appropriate bonds and insurance; and
4. Authorize the Public Works Director to execute contract change orders up to the amount of Ninety-Five Thousand Four Hundred Ninety-Two Dollars and Sixty-Eight Cents ($95,492.68).

DISCUSSION:
On June 8, 2021, the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors authorized the Clerk of the Board to advertise the Telegraph Creek Road (4A150) Post Mile 1.90 and Puma Drive (4A125) Post Miles 0.10, 0.21, 0.25 and 0.60 Storm Damage Repair Project for bids. On July 13, 2021, the County of Humboldt received four (4) bids for the project, which are attached hereto as Attachment 1.
The Department of Public Works recommends that the Board of Supervisors: receive and file the bid proposals submitted for the Telegraph Creek Road (4A150) Post Mile 1.90 and Puma Drive (4A125) Post Miles 0.10, 0.21, 0.25 and 0.60 Storm Damage Repair Project; award the attached project agreement to GR Wilcox Enterprises, Inc., for the total amount of One Million One Hundred Seventy-Six Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-Three Dol...
