RECOMMENDATION(S):
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Approve, and authorize the Chair of the Board to execute, the attached software license and support services agreement with Diverse Computing, Inc. regarding the continued provision and maintenance of an eAgent interface with the California Law Enforcement Technology System and the California Law Enforcement Warrants System for the period of December 1, 2018 through November 30, 2022; and
2. Direct the Clerk of the Board to return two (2) fully executed original copies of the attached software license and support services agreement to the County Administrative Office - Information Technology division for further processing.

DISCUSSION:
The California Law Enforcement Technology System (CLETS) facilitates communication access to various statewide and local law enforcement databases. The California Law Enforcement Warrants System (CLEWS) provides fast and accurate access to active local warrants. The CLETS and CLEWS systems are utilized by the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office, the District Attorney's Office, the Probation Department, the Department of Health and Human Services, Humboldt State University and the Police Departments for the Cities of Arcata, Eureka and Fortuna.
