RECOMMENDATION(S):
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Approve, and authorize the Chair of the Board to execute the attached Software Licensing and Support Services Agreement with Carahsoft Technology Corporation for the provision of data analytics software services;
2. Approve, and authorize the Department of Health and Human Services Director, or a designee thereof, to execute any and all amendments to the attached Software Licensing and Support Services Agreement with Carahsoft Technology Corporation after review and approval by County Counsel, Risk Management and the County Administrative Office; and
3. Direct the Clerk of the Board to return one fully executed copy of the attached Software Licensing and Support Services Agreement with Carahsoft Technology Corporation to the Department of Health and Human Services - Contracts Unit for further processing.

DISCUSSION:
The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has contracted with Carahsoft Technology Corporation for the purpose of streamlining data analysis, data cleanup and creating interactive data visualizations for DHHS reporting to aid staff and leadership in making data-informed decisions. Each branch of DHHS has been issued Tableau licenses allowing any data respective to the branch to transition reporting to Tableau. Some of the data already transitioned into Tableau includes- but is not limited to- Evidence Based Practices, Child Placement and Child and Adolescents Needs and Strengths.
