RECOMMENDATION(S):
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Approve, and authorize the Chair of the Board to execute, the attached first amendment to the consultant services agreement with Mark Thomas and Company, Inc., regarding the provision of professional design engineering services for the Garberville Complete Streets Project and the Redway Drive/Redwood Drive Intersection Highway Safety Improvement Project; and
2. Direct the Clerk of the Board to return one (1) fully executed original copy of the attached first amendment to the consultant services agreement with Mark Thomas and Company, Inc., to the Department of Public Works for further processing.

DISCUSSION:
On Sept. 29, 2020, the Board of Supervisors authorized the execution of a consultant services agreement Mark Thomas and Company, Inc. regarding the provision of professional design engineering for the Garberville Complete Streets Project and the Redway Drive/Redwood Drive Intersection Highway Safety Improvement Project. The attached first amendment to the consultant services agreement with Mark Thomas and Company, Inc. will expand the scope of services provided, and increase the maximum amount payable, thereunder in order to allow for the performance of additional design engineering services needed to ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
