RECOMMENDATION(S):
Recommendation
1. Approve, and authorize the Chair of the Board to execute, the attached Memorandum of Understanding with the First 5 Humboldt Children and Families Commission (First 5 Humboldt) regarding coordination of services provided through the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) Road to Resilience Partnerships 2019-2022 grant program to substance use disorder impacted families participating in the Yurok and Hoopa Family Wellness Courts;
2. Authorize the Department of Health and Human Services Director to execute any and all future amendments to the attached Memorandum of Understanding, after review and approval by County Counsel; and
3. Direct the Clerk of the Board to return three fully executed original copies of the attached Memorandum of Understanding to the Department of Health and Human Services - Contract Unit for further processing.

DISCUSSION:
The attached Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the First 5 Humboldt Children and Families Commission (First 5 Humboldt) defines the respective roles and responsibilities of the County and First 5 Humboldt in a partnership to expand services to Substance Use Disorder Impacted families participating in, or at risk of participation in, the Yurok and Hoopa Family Wellness Courts, through the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) Road to Resilience Partnerships 2019-2022 grant program (the Project).
