RECOMMENDATION(S):
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Approve and authorize the Chair to sign four copies of the Exhibit A Cooperative Law Enforcement Annual Patrol Operating and Financial Plan, #16-LE-11051360-027 (Patrol Operating and Financial Plan), Modification 010, (Attachment 1) between Humboldt County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) and United States Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, Six Rivers National Forest (USDA Forest Service) executed on Oct. 27, 2015 for the period beginning Oct. 1, 2018 and ending Sept. 30, 2019;
2. Approve and authorize the Chair to sign four copies of the Exhibit B Cooperative Law Enforcement Annual Controlled Substance Operations and Financial Plan #16-LE-11051360-027 (Controlled Substance Operating and Financial Plan), Modification 011, (Attachment 2) between Humboldt County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) and United States Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, Six Rivers National Forest (USDA Forest Service) executed on Oct. 27, 2015 for the period beginning Oct. 1, 2018 and ending Sept. 30, 2019;
3. Authorize the Sheriff, Undersheriff and Deputy Director Sheriff's Administration to execute all the necessary reimbursement claims, applications, contracts, and agreements and amendments thereto, in the name of the County of Humboldt, and all other documents required by the USDA Forest Service Six Rivers National Forest; and
4. Direct the Clerk of the Board to return signed copies of the agreement to the HCSO, Attention: Manda Terrill for submittal to funding agency.
