RECOMMENDATION(S):
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Approve, and authorize the Chair of the Board to execute, the attached professional services agreements with Corinne Basch, Mariane Gilbert, John Haskett and Katherine Schoenfield regarding the provision of non-emergency medical care services at the county's psychiatric health facility for the period of May 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020;
2. Authorize the Department of Health and Human Services - Mental Health Director, or a designee thereof, to execute any and all subsequent amendments to the attached professional services agreements after review and approval by County Counsel, Risk Management and the County Administrative Office; and
3. Direct the Clerk of the Board to return a fully executed copy of each of the attached professional services agreements to the Department of Health and Human Services - Contract Unit for further processing.

DISCUSSION:
Pursuant to Section 77061(d) of Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations, the county's psychiatric health facility, Sempervirens, is required to have a physician on-call at all times for the provision of non-emergency physical health care. The attached professional services agreements will allow for the provision of non-emergency medical care services at the county's psychiatric health facility for the period of May 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020.
