Recommendation

That the Board of Supervisors receive and file the bids for Bridge Preventative Maintenance Program Projects at North Fork Mad River Bridge (4C026) on Maple Creek Road (5L100) P.M. 1.32 and Honeydew Bridge (4C055) on Mattole Road (3D010) P.M. 0.0; reject all bid proposals; and direct the Department of Public Works Engineering staff to investigate possible cost savings, increase the federal funding, and re-advertise the project to a larger audience.
