Humboldt County;  
2. Authorize the commitment of up to $150,000 in Department of Health and  
Human Services funding to the proposed Residential Care Facility for the  
Elderly expansion project;  
3. Approve, and authorize the Chair of the Board to sign a letter of commitment  
required to apply for Community Care Expansion program grant funding,  
committing to provide up to $150,000 in Department of Health and Human  
Services funding; and

Recommendation:  
1. Approve, and authorize the Sheriff or Undersheriff to execute the attached  
Law Enforcement Services Agreement with various entities to provide LE  
services at special events. This authorization would remain in effect for the  
remainder of Sheriff Honsal's term of office and would only be for agreements  
where payment by the entity is up to the purchasing threshold, which is  
currently $67,504.00, annually adjusted by Consumer Price Index (CPI). Any  
agreements over the purchasing threshold would require returning to the Board  
of Supervisor for approval to execute; and  
2. Authorize the Sheriff or Undersheriff to execute any and all revisions and  
amendments to the attached Law Enforcement Services Agreement with
