DISCUSSION:
The Board of Supervisors would like to recognize the 100th year celebration of the Sons and Daughters of Italy by presenting them with a ceremonial proclamation stating March 16, 2024 as Eureka Lodge #1274 Centennial Day. The Eureka Lodge #1274 was founded on March 16, 1924 and is the fourth oldest Lodge in California. The Lodge promotes general welfare of the residents in Humboldt through fundraising and charitable activities. The celebration will be at the Wharfinger Building on March 23 and 24, 2024 beginning at 5:00 pm.

There is no financial impact to presenting a resolution.
