That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Receive and file a presentation by Dr. Candy Stockton, County of Humboldt Health Officer, regarding recorded drug poisoning and fentanyl-related deaths from January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2023.

DISCUSSION:
Department of Health and Human Services- Public Health (DHHS-PH) completed a review of all recorded drug poisoning and fentanyl-related deaths in the County of Humboldt for the term starting January 1, 2022, through December 31, 2023. The Health Officer will present to the Board of Supervisors more information on these deaths and share DHHS - PH initial overdose findings.

There is no financial impact to the Public Health Fund to receive this presentation.
