That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Welcomes the College of the Redwoods students to the Board meeting and listens to their presentation.

DISCUSSION:
Jim Ritter, Assistant Director of Employer Partnerships, North/Far North Regional Consortium at College of the Redwoods has been part of the “Humboldt Live Leadership/Career Exploration” class taught in local high schools since 1999. As part of his new role at College of the Redwoods, Mr. Ritter is now bringing CR Academy students to the Board meeting to observe local government in action.
The Board will also hear a presentation by CR Academy students highlighting the college and various programs available to students to bring awareness of this wonderful resource available in our community.
