DISCUSSION:
The Board of Supervisors would like to proclaim the week of June 11 through June 17, 2023, as Eligibility Specialist Appreciation Week. An Eligibility Specialist is responsible for determining initial and continuing eligibility for a variety of public assistance programs which often provide critical access to medical services, food assistance and financial assistance in our community. The Board would like to thank Eligibility Specialists for their hard work and commitment to our community.

There is minimal financial impact to adopting a proclamation.
