RECOMMENDATION(S):
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Approve the State Standard Agreement # 22-11036 with the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) to provide immunization services;
2. Authorize the Director of Public Health, or a designee thereof, to sign the State Standard Agreement;
3. Authorize the Director of Public Health, or a designed thereof, to sign the Certification Regarding Lobbying, Contractor Certification Clauses, and California Civil Rights Laws Attachment; and
4. Authorize the Director of Public Health, or a designee thereof, to sign all future amendments and documents directly related to the State Standard Agreement upon review and approval of County Counsel and Risk Management.

DISCUSSION:
The purpose of the Immunization Grant is to assist local health departments in preventing and controlling vaccine preventable diseases in the local health jurisdiction. The other purpose of the Immunization Grant is to allow local health departments to assess and improve coverage levels in the jurisdiction of all vaccines recommended by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) to protect the population. The DHHS - Public Health Immunization Program relies on this funding to provide an immunization clinic, as well as for coordinating with local providers to ensure vaccine availability, including equitable access to COVID-19 vaccinations.
