The Board of Supervisors would like to recognize National Animal Control Officer Appreciation Week as April 9 -15 in Humboldt County. The Board encourages the public to learn about the job and be grateful for those who serve in this capacity. Animal control officers risk their lives to protect both animals and humans.

There is no financial impact to issuing this proclamation.
