RECOMMENDATION(S):
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Adopt the attached resolution which authorizes the Humboldt County District Attorney, the Humboldt County Auditor-Controller and the County Administrative Office, and/or designees thereof, to execute any and all documents necessary to apply for, accept and administer funding made available by the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services through the Child Advocacy Center Program during the period of April 1, 2023 through March 31, 2028 (4/5 vote required);
2. Authorize the Humboldt County District Attorney, the Humboldt County Auditor-Controller and the County Administrative Office, or designees thereof, to execute any and all documents necessary to retroactively accept and administer April 1, 2022 through March 31, 2023 (4/5 vote required);
3. Direct the Clerk of the Board to provide the Humboldt County District Attorney's Office with one (1) fully executed certified copy of the attached resolution to the District Attorney's Office for submission to the State California Governor's Office of Emergency Services; and
4. Direct the Clerk of the Board to provide the Humboldt County District Attorney's Office with one (1) fully executed copy of the Board order related to this item for further processing.
