DISCUSSION:
Supervisor Steve Madrone is announcing his reappointment of Peggy O’Neill to the Planning Commission representing the Fifth District. Ms. O’Neill has served since 2019 and her new term will end on Jan. 31, 2027.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
Pursuant to County Code, Chapter 2, Section 312-1, planning commissioners receive a per diem of $140 per meeting (up to 10 meeting per month), and are allowed the same travel expenses as other county officers and employees. There is minimal financial impact to the reappointment of a commission member as their related costs have been budgeted in the Planning & Building Department’s budget (1100-277 Advanced Planning and 1100-268 Cannabis Planning).
