DISCUSSION:

The CalForest WRX Alliance is a diverse group of stakeholders whose purpose is to improve social, economic, and environmental sustainability in Northwestern California including Humboldt County and the Six Rivers National Forest.  Supervisor Madrone would like to recognize the important work that both Christy Prescott, U.S. Forest Service Social Scientist, and Ted McArthur, Forest Supervisor for the Six Rivers National Forest, have contributed to the group with a Certificate of Appreciation.

Please note that an additional agenda item regarding the CalForest WRX initiative will come forward at a future date.

FINANCIAL IMPACT:

There is no financial impact for a certificate of appreciation.
