DISCUSSION:
A vacancy has occurred on the Humboldt County Headwaters Fund Board due to the term expiration of Charles Ellsworth on May 26, 2022.
A vacancy has been posted and applications are being accepted by the Clerk of the Board’s Office. The Board of Supervisors has a Headwaters Fund Board Subcommittee of which Supervisor Wilson and Supervisor Bohn are members. This subcommittee typically meets to review and conduct interviews of applications received. After this process is complete, an agenda item will be brought forth with a recommendation.
This process does not fall under the revised protocol for Board of Supervisors Appointments that was amended on March 23, 2021. Therefore, a timeline for appointment is not included.
