Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Receive the Code Enforcement Unit’s annual report.

DISCUSSION:
The attached report describes the activities of the Code Enforcement Unit (CEU) during the calendar year 2021.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The CEU collected $187,500 in compliance agreement penalties. There were assessments in the amount of $4.2 million.
STRATEGIC FRAMEWORK:
This action supports your Board’s Strategic Framework by enforcing laws and regulations to protect residents.
OTHER AGENCY INVOLVEMENT:

ALTERNATIVES TO STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS:
The Board of Supervisors could choose to not receive the Code Enforcement Unit annual report
