RECOMMENDATION(S):
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Approve the waiver to allow for an ABC Type 20 Off-Sale liquor license as requested.

DISCUSSION:
Pursuant to Section 23958.4 of the Business and Professions Code the Board of Supervisors may determine if public convenience warrants the issuance of or change in an Alcohol and Beverage Control license. Elk Country RV Park has requested approval from the Board of Supervisors for a waiver outside the number of allowed licenses in the Trinidad area to obtain a Type 20, Off-Sale Liquor License.
Alcohol Beverage Control, Humboldt County Planning & Building, Humboldt County Environmental Health, and the Humboldt County Sheriff have all been consulted regarding this request and have expressed no concerns with allowing this waiver.

There is no financial impact resulting from your Boards approval of this item beyond staff time spent developing this staff report and related materials.
