DISCUSSION:
At the Dec. 7, 2021 Board of Supervisors meeting, the MMAC submitted a revised draft of their Rules, Regulations and Procedures for consideration and approval, noting the proposed changes more accurately reflect the operations of the committee. In addition, the MMAC requested the addition of a "Treasurer" position (as outlined in the attached letter) to the officers of the MMAC as well as adding or modifying sections relative to the responsibilities of the McKinleyville Community Services District (MCSD), the county, staffing and funding.

Also, at the Dec. 7th board meeting, several board members requested copies of the redlined documents showing the proposed changes in comparison with the original MMAC Rules and Regulations that were approved by the Board when the MMAC was formed, as well as continuing this item to the Jan. 11, 2022 meeting to allow time for review of the requested documents. Those documents are attached to this agenda item for review by your Board and members of the public.
