DISCUSSION:
The Board of Supervisors would like to introduce and welcome Michael Davies-Hughes as the new Humboldt County Superintendent of Schools.
Michael Davies-Hughes was sworn-in as the Humboldt County Superintendent of Schools on Nov. 2, 2021. Michael has spent the past twenty years serving students in Humboldt County as an administrator and comes to his new position after spending the past 6 1/2 years as an Assistant Superintendent at Eureka City Schools.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
Receipt of this item results in no impact to the county General Fund, beyond staff time drafting and delivering the staff report and presentation.
