DISCUSSION:
Supervisor Madrone is announcing his reappointment of Bonnie Oliver and Twila Sanchez to a new term on the McKinleyville Municipal Advisory Committee (MMAC). The existing terms end on Oct. 23, 2021. The new term will be an additional four-year term with an end date of Oct. 23, 2025.
Supervisor Madrone is also announcing the new appointment of Lisa Dugan to fill the vacancy of Bonnie Olivera’s seat. Lisa will have a four-year term with an end date of Oct. 23, 2025.
These are appointments for seats dedicated to the appointment by the Fifth District Supervisor.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
There is minimal cost associated with the recommended action to receive and file the staff report. The report announces the appointment of Lisa Dugan to the MMAC. The MMAC is staffed by the Planning and Building Department. Staff costs related to the MMAC have been incorporated into the Fiscal Year 2021-22 budget, and there is no additional impact to the General Fund.
