DISCUSSION:
Officer Lindsey Diane Frank received the Regional Exceptional Service Award from the National Association of School Resource Officers. Exceptional Service Awards are presented to individuals for continuous and sustained service to the school communities above and beyond that expected of a normal School Resource Officer. Officer Frank has made a profound positive impact working directly with youth, families, and our school staff and personnel on a daily basis. The Board would like to recognize and congratulate Office Lindsey on her continued outstanding work. Furthermore, the Board would like to thank all of the citizens of Humboldt for supporting the Measure Z tax initiative which has allowed funding for this invaluable resource.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
There is no impact to receiving this report. However, Officer Frank’s position is funded by Measure Z. For Fiscal Year 2021-22, the Board allocated $182,436 for this position in the Measure Z budget (budget unit 1100-197).
