DISCUSSION:
A vacancy has occurred on the Humboldt County Headwaters Fund Board due to the resignation of Dianna Rios.
A vacancy has been posted and applications are being accepted by the Clerk of the Board Office. The Board of Supervisors has a headwaters Fund Board Subcommittee of which Supervisors Mike Wilson and Supervisor Rex Bohn are members. This subcommittee typically meets to review, and conduct interviews of the applications received. After this process is complete, an agenda item will be brought forth with a recommendation.
This process does not fall under the revised Protocol for the Board of Supervisors Appointments that was amended on March 23, 2021. Therefore, a timeline for appointment is not included.
