RECOMMENDATION(S):

Recommendation

That the Board of Supervisors:

1.                     Adopt the resolution and direct the Clerk of the Board to return a fully executed copy of the resolution to Humboldt to Six Rivers Running Club.

DISCUSSION:

The Six Rivers Running Club is planning its 49th Annual Avenue of the Giants Marathon, Half Marathon and 10 K run on Sept. 19, 2021. The resolution authorizing road closures for the marathon is the first step in the running club’s permitting process. The club is asking that the Board of Supervisors adopt the attached resolution.
