That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Approve the recommended appointments to the Fire Safe Council.

DISCUSSION:
The Humboldt County Fire Safe Council met on May 20, 2021. At this meeting the Council membership expressed support for two nominated members and are asking the Board of Supervisors for their appointment. Per the Board of Supervisors updated protocol for Board of Supervisors Appointments dated March 23, 2021, the Fire Safe Council is listed on Exhibit 1 of Attachment B so therefore is excluded from the At Large appointment protocol.
The Willow Creek Fire Safe Council is recommending Joe O’Hara for their member representative and John Evans as their alternate. Mr. O’Hara will be replacing Tom O’Gorman who is resigning.
