The Board of Supervisors would like to proclaim Special Districts Week as May 16-May 23 in Humboldt County. Special Districts Week helps promote and educate the public about local public service providers, including awareness and understanding of special districts, in addition to encouraging the public to become involved in their communities and civically engaged with their local government.
