1. Authorize the Chair to sign the letter of appreciation.

DISCUSSION:
The Board of Supervisors would like to send a letter of appreciation to Fire Chief Lon Winburn for his service on the Fire Safe Council. Lon has been a member since 2012 representing the Fire Chief’s Association. He contributed to the Community Wildfire Protection Plan update, has been a active participant in the fire service sustainability program, and has been an invaluable advisor and resource to departments all over the county. The Board would like to thank him for his continued community efforts.
