RECOMMENDATION(S):
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Appoint a Delegate and Alternate to the RCRC Board of Directors and Golden State Finance Authority for calendar year 2021, and direct the Clerk of the Board to notify RCRC staff member Maggie Chui, 1215 K Street, Suite #1650, Sacramento, CA 955814 of the appointment.

DISCUSSION:
The Delegate and Alternate to the Board of Directors of RCRC and the Golden State Finance Authority are appointed by their respective Board of Supervisors. The appointed Delegate and Alternate serve on both the RCRC and Golden State Finance Authority Board and serve one-year terms beginning in January of each year.
Supervisor Rex Bohn is the current Delegate on the RCRC/Golden State Finance Authority Board of Directors and also serves as RCRC’s representative on the National Association of Counties (NACO) Western Interstate Region Board of Directors. Supervisor Estelle Fennell is the current Alternate on the RCRC/Golden State Finance Authority Board of Directors. Both Supervisor Bohn and Supervisor Fennell have expressed interest in continuing to serve on these two Boards of Directors, representing Humboldt County for the upcoming year, 2021.
