On June 25, 2019 (Item C-18), your Board approved a professional services agreement with Boys & Girls Club of the Redwoods regarding implementation of the SMART Moves, SMART Girls and Passport to Manhood programs which are designed to provide youth with tools to resist alcohol, tobacco and other drugs, avoid premature sexual activity and transition from adolescence to adulthood. The attached professional services agreement with Boys & Girls Club of the Redwoods will allow for the continued implementation of the SMART Moves, SMART Girls and Passport to Manhood programs for the period of July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021. It should be noted that the attached professional services agreement with Boys & Girls Club of the Redwoods comes to the Board after the start date thereof due to unexpected delays that occurred during the contract development process.
