RECOMMENDATION(S):
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Approve, and authorize the Chair of the Board to execute, the attached professional services agreement with Dimension Reports LLC regarding the provision of reporting services related to behavioral health claims submitted to the California Department of Health Care Services in the amount of $64,800 for the period of Oct. 1, 2020 through Sept. 30, 2023;
2. Authorize the Department of Health and Human Services - Behavioral Health Director, or a designee thereof, to execute any and all subsequent amendments to the attached professional services agreement with Dimension Reports LLC, after review and approval by County Counsel, Risk Management and the County Administrative Office; and
3. Direct the Clerk of the Board to return one fully executed original copy of the attached professional services agreement with Dimension Reports LLC to the Department of Health and Human Services - Contract Unit for further processing.

DISCUSSION:
The California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) utilizes 837 and 835 X12 formatted files to communicate with county entities regarding behavioral claims that are submitted thereto.
On Sept. 19, 2017 (Item C-10), the Board approved the current professional services agreement with Dimension Reports LLC regarding the provision of reporting services related to the 837 and 835 X12 files submitted to, and received by, DHCS and the Humboldt County Department of Health and Human Services - Behavioral Health (DHHS - Behavioral Health), which is scheduled to expire on Sept. 30, 2020.
