RECOMMENDATION(S):
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Receive and file the bid proposals submitted for the Williams Creek Emergency Streambank Repair Project;
2. Award the attached project agreement to Mobley Construction for the total amount of Three Hundred Twenty-One Thousand Five Hundred Seventy-Four Dollars ($321,574); and
3. Authorize the Chair of the Board to execute the attached project agreement with Mobley Construction upon submittal of the appropriate bonds and insurance.

DISCUSSION:
On June 9, 2020, the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors authorized the Clerk of the Board to advertise the Williams Creek Emergency Streambank Repair Project for bids. On July 7, 2020, the County of Humboldt received a total of six (6) bids for the project, which are attached hereto as Attachment 1.

The Department of Public Works ("Public Works") recommends that the Board of Supervisors receive and file the bid proposals submitted for the Williams Creek Emergency Streambank Repair Project. It is also recommended that the attached project agreement be awarded to Mobley Construction for the total amount of Three Hundred Twenty-One Thousand Five Hundred Seventy-Four Dollars ($321,574), and that the Chair of the Board be authorized to execute the attached project agreement with Mobley Construction upon submittal of the appropriate bonds and insurance.
