RECOMMENDATION(S):
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Receive and file the bid proposals submitted for the East Branch Road (6B175) Post Mile 0.36, Oakcrest Drive (6B185) Post Mile 0.10 and Mosswood Lane (6B178) Post Mile 0.15 Storm Damage Repair Project;
2. Award the attached project agreement to Mercer-Fraser Company for the total amount of Two Million Forty-One Thousand Four Hundred Forty Dollars and Fifty Cents ($2,041,440.50); and
3. Authorize the Chair of the Board to execute the attached project agreement with Mercer-Fraser Company upon submittal of the appropriate bonds and insurance.

DISCUSSION:
On June 2, 2020, the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors authorized the Clerk of the Board to advertise the East Branch Road (6B175) Post Mile 0.36, Oakcrest Drive (6B185) Post Mile 0.10 and Mosswood Lane (6B178) Post Mile 0.15 Storm Damage Repair Project for bids. On June 30, 2020, the County of Humboldt received a total of five (5) bids for the project, which are attached hereto as Attachment 1.
The Department of Public Works recommends that the Board of Supervisors receive and file the bid proposals submitted for the East Branch Road (6B175) Post Mile 0.36, Oakcrest Drive (6B185) Post Mile 0.10 and Mosswood Lane (6B178) Post Mile 0.15 Storm Damage Repair Project. It is also recommended that the attached project agreement be awarded to Mercer-Fraser Company for the total amount of Two Million Forty-One Thousand Four Hundred Forty Dollars and Fifty Cents ($2,041,440.50) and that the Chair of the Board be authorized to execute the attached ...
