RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation

That the Board of Supervisors:

1.                     Open the public hearing and survey the audience for any concerned members of the public that can not attend the January 14, 2020 public hearing; and

2.                     Continue the appeal hearing to the January 14, 2020 Board of Supervisors hearing, to be heard as a time certain matter at 1:30 p.m.

DISCUSSION:

This item is an appeal of the Planning Commission’s June 6, 2019 denial of a Conditional Use Permit for 43,460 square feet of outdoor commercial cannabis cultivation.  Because of the large Board agenda of November 19, 2019, the appellant and staff are in agreement to continue the appeal hearing to the January 14, 2020 agenda.

 

FINANCIAL IMPACT:

There will be no additional effect on the General Fund. The appellant has paid in full the appeal fee associated with this appeal.
