Retired teachers fulfill vital roles in every community in California. They provide support for active and future teachers and they are committed to their communities through various volunteer activities. The Board of Supervisors would like to proclaim the week of November 3-9, 2019 as California Retired Teacher Week in Humboldt County and ask that these important members be recognized for their important contributions.
