DISCUSSION:
Senior Planner Michael Wheeler retired on October 4, 2019 after 24 years of service to the County of Humboldt Planning & Building Department. Mr. Wheeler has worked on some of the county’s most complex major projects, including the Samoa Town Master Plan, the Town of Scotia subdivision and plan, interim uses in coastal dependent industrial lands, and he has managed the county’s surface mining program for the last 18 years. The Board of Supervisors would like to recognize and commend Mr. Wheeler on his 24 years of service and his commitment to the citizens of Humboldt County.
