DISCUSSION:

The California Arts Council and the California State Legislature have established a State-Local Partnership Program dedicated to strengthening the profession of local arts agencies and has selected certain agencies in each county to represent the California Arts Council as the State-Local partner.  The Humboldt Arts Council (HAC) has served in this capacity for the County of Humboldt since 1987, and has requested a Resolution of Support for HAC’s grant funding request to continue the program.
