DISCUSSION:
The Orick Community Services District is applying to the state for funding for their Orick CSD Wastewater Treatment Facility Project and has requested a support letter for the project from the Board of Supervisors. Orick is currently served by individual on-site septic systems, many of which are failing and have created health and safety issues. This project would construct an economical and environmental wastewater collection and disposal system to service the Orick Community, and protect the health and well-being of its citizens.
