RECOMMENDATION(S):
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Approve the recommendation from the Humboldt County Fish & Game Commission to fund the Humboldt County Office of Education grant for $9,000, and direct the Clerk of the Board to notify the Fish & Game Commission secretary, Nancy Katis-Slocum via email: nkaytis4@gmail.com of the approval.

DISCUSSION:
At its July 2, 2019, meeting the Humboldt County Fish & Game Commission discussed and evaluated several grant requests. The Commission is now requesting that the Board of Supervisors fund the attached Humboldt County Office of Education Grant in the amount of $9,000.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The Fish and Game Advisory Committee’s budget (1700-290) allotted $9,000 toward grant awards for Fiscal Year 2019-20. The Fish and Game Fund has sufficient funds to award the recommended grant.
