That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Receive and accept the Headwaters Fund (HWF) Annual Report.

DISCUSSION:
The Headwaters Fund Board (HFB) and staff are pleased to provide the attached fiscal year 2017-18 Headwaters Fund Annual Report (Attachment 1). The report includes a summary of the fund’s activities, results and financial status. Staff and HFB Past-Chair, Charles (Chuck) Ellsworth, will present this report to your Board and will be available for questions. If your Board reviews and accepts the HWF Annual Report, it will be printed and made available for public distribution by hard copy, in addition to being posted on the HWF website.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
There is no financial impact to the county General Fund. Costs for printing the annual report have already been included in the fiscal year 2019-20 budget.
STRATEGIC FRAMEWORK:
This action supports your Board’s Strategic Framework by supporting business, workforce development and creation of private-sector jobs and encouraging new local investment.
