RECOMMENDATION(S):
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Adopt the resolution adding Exhibits A (legal description) and B (map) to Ordinance No. 2631 which was previously adopted on June 25, 2019.

Applicant fees deposited into Current Planning budget 277.
DISCUSSION:
On June 25, 2019, the Board of Supervisors adopted an ordinance amending Section 311-7 of the
Humboldt County Code. This ordinance did not include Exhibits A (legal description) and B (map)
which were omitted in error. The public received legal notice of the original ordinance adoption as
required by law and the notice contained a description of the location of the parcels in question. This item would correct a clerical error by attaching exhibits that were erroneously omitted to the ordinance that will be kept by the Planning Department and Clerk of the Board.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
There will be no impact on the General Fund. The source of funding for this project is the Current
Planning Trust, and expenses will be paid through budget unit 1100-277 - Current Planning. The
applicant is responsible for paying all actual costs involved in the processing of the application.
STRATEGIC FRAMEWORK:
This action supports your Board's Strategic Framework by enforcing laws and regulations to protect residents .
OTHER AGENCY INVOLVEMENT:
None
ALTERNATIVES TO STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS:
Your Board may choose not to approve the Resolution, however, this is not recommended as the
Exhibits would be missing.
