American Disabilities Act was signed into law on July 26, 1990, guaranteeing equal opportunity for people with disabilities in public accommodations, commercial facilities, employment, transportation, state and local government services, and telecommunications. The Humboldt County Board of Supervisors does hereby proclaim the week of July 21, 2019 as “Americans with Disabilities Act 29th Anniversary Week” in Humboldt County and urges all citizens to join in this Celebration.
