DISCUSSION:
The Board of Supervisors would like to recognize Wyatt Wheetley and congratulate him on earning the rank of Eagle Scout. Wyatt joined the Arcata Cub Scout Pack 95 as a second grader. Since then, Wyatt has been involved with many Scout projects including devoting hundreds of hours in environmental cleanup efforts at the Arcata Community Forest and the Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary. For his major Eagle Scout community service project, Wyatt worked under the guidance of his Scoutmaster to build four wooden storage boxes so that the Greenwood Cemetery could properly store the memorial American flags for veterans. Wyatt received his formal recognition on July 7, 2019 at his Court of Honor.
