RECOMMENDATION(S):
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Appoint a County Delegate and County Alternate to participate in the NACO annual election of officers and policy adoption, complete the NACO 2019 Credentials Voting Form, and return the form to Lauren Wilson via fax at (866)370-9421 or email at credentials@naco.org, no later than June 28, 2019.

DISCUSSION:
NACO is preparing for the 84th Annual Conference in Clark County, Nevada, and it is important that counties participate in the association’s annual election of officers and policy adoption.
Humboldt County is a member of NACO and Supervisor Bohn and Supervisor Bass are both registered to attend the NACO Conference in July 2019, making the county eligible to participate in the annual election of officers and policy adoption. The Board of Supervisors needs to appoint a County Delegate and County Alternate to be able to pick up the ballot and cast Humboldt County’s vote at the annual conference.
