Humboldt County Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Social Services Branch has requested the Board of Supervisors recognize Elder Abuse Awareness Month with a proclamation. DHHS Social Services Branch encourages all citizens to recognize that elders are valuable members of society and have the right to live safely and securely in their communities.
