DISCUSSION:
The Board of Supervisors has long supported the KHSU Community Radio Station as it has long served as a significant community asset. The abrupt announcement of the closure of the station without public input has left the community devastated. The Board of Supervisors is sending a letter to Governor Newsome, the California State Universities Chancellor, and CSU Board of Regents requesting the reopening of dialogue with the community, volunteers, and staff to explore options to restore the KHSU station and local programming.
