RECOMMENDATION(S):
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Approve, and authorize the Chair of the Board to execute, the attached professional services agreement with CDX Wireless, Inc. regarding administration of the Humboldt County Regional Radio System Replacement Project for the period of April 1, 2019 through November 30, 2021; and
2. Direct the Clerk of the Board to return two (2) fully executed original copies of the attached professional services agreement with CDX Wireless, Inc. to the County Administrative Office - Communications Division for further processing.

DISCUSSION:
On December 18, 2018 (Item C-6), the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors approved a communications system and services agreement with Motorola Solutions, Inc. regarding the provision of products and services necessary to complete the Humboldt County Regional Radio System Replacement Project. The attached professional services agreement with CDX Wireless, Inc. will allow for the provision of technical oversite and project management services that are required to ensure that completion of the Humboldt County Regional Radio System Project will be accomplished in an effective and efficient manner.
The attached professional services agreement with CDX Wireless, Inc. comes to the Board after the start date thereof due to inadvertent delays that occurred during the contract development process.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The attached professional services agreement with CDX Wireless, Inc. has a maximum amount payable of One Hundred Sixty-Five Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($165,600.00) for the period of April 1, 2019 through November 30, 2021. However, if local, state or fe...
