Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Cancel the Board meeting on April 23; and
2. Reschedule the July 2 Board meeting and cancel the July 16 Board meeting.

DISCUSSION:
On Nov. 6, 2018 your Board adopted the Board meeting schedule for calendar year 2019. Scheduling meetings a year in advance can present future scheduling conflicts, and may require your Board to make adjustments to the meeting schedule throughout the year.
The week of April 22 is the week of the California State Associations of Counties Legislative Conference and the Salmonid Restoration Conference. Board members will be attending these conferences and there will be no quorum for the April 23 meeting. Therefore, staff recommends cancelling the April 23 Board meeting.
On Nov. 6, 2018 your Board cancelled the July 2 Board meeting. However, the National Association of Counties Conference is the third week in July, and Board members will be in attendance at this conference. Therefore, staff recommends adding the July 2 meeting back to the Board meeting schedule for calendar year 2019, and cancelling the July 16 meeting.
